Ms. Olewinski is a classically trained vocalist and
pianist, teacher and conductor who enjoys virtually all styles of
music. However, she has chosen to focus on music that is uniquely
American such as the blues, jazz, spirituals and gospel songs. Some of
her goals have always been to grow her own studio, perform regularly
and create her own nonprofit organization that uses music to educate,
connect diverse populations and support ongoing research in music
education.
Currently, Ms. Olewinski maintains her own in-home
studio, teaches locally, is music educator to the very young, serves
as Adjunct Professor of Voice at Raritan Valley Community Collect, is
a guest lecturer and conductor at various locales and is Assistant
Artistic Director of the HERITAGE Chorale. As an active
performer in liturgical and concert settings, she has performed on
national television, at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and NJPAC, as
well as other venues in new Jersey and New York City. Ms. Olewinski has also performed with New York POPS, New York Philharmonic
and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
Ms. Olewinski holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from
the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Arts degree from New York
University and Westminster Choir College. |
